He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bornemann and Viola Bornemann (Grosser); his wife Peggy; his brothers, Allen and Carl Bornemann; and his niece Shawna Gruca.
He is survived by: his children, James Bornemann, John Bornemann and Jill Jurek (DJ); his granddaughters, Margaret "Maggie" and Josephine "Josie" Jurek; his close friend Sally Paswaters; his siblings, Gail Holder (Craig) and Rodney Bornemann (Connie); and his sisters-in-law, Katherine Bornemann, Mary Jane Bornemann and Brenda Jordan (Robert). He is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
