With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Loy Watts of Mount Vernon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 54. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Loy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Loy Watts and Joan Woods. He is survived by: his wife Kristina Aughe; his children, Kody, Tatum, Deedra and Austin; and his siblings, Robert Watts, Sonny Miles (Carry), Lori Sylvester, Michelle Bustrum, Lorena Bullard and Andrea Black.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Memorial Chapel (1111 Lawrence 1137, Mt. Vernon, MO 65712).
