He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Josephine; and his siblings, Herbert, Max Garner, Betty Wells, Nadine Pedigo, Tiny Williams, Sylvia and Jeannie Garner.
He is survived by: his children, Josephine Garner (McGehee), Rebecca Mason of Evans, Georgia, Marty Garner (Teresa) of Springfield and Herbert Garner (Natashia) of Verona, Missouri; his grandchildren, Porsha, Mary Katelyn, Tristan, Cody, Steffanie, Syd and Mariah; his great grandchildren, Layton, Reese, Cooper, Taylor, Dayton and Katelyn; and his siblings, Neva Davies of Neosho, Sharon Olinger of Jasper, Debra Price (Ed) of Holt, Florida and Larry Garner of Mt. Vernon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to MVVL Assistance League for the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home in care of the funeral home.
