He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brown and Mattie Brown (Doss); his siblings, Wayne, Cecil, Fred, Floyd, Raymond, Bob, Bill, Jim Brown, Nova Little, Lucille Huffman and Martha Brooks; and his grandson Kyle Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Woodbury (Russ) of Aurora, Nancy Phillips (Lance) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Jack Brown of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and John Brown of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; and his brothers, Troy Brown of Virginia and Carl Brown of Colorado. He is also survived by step-daughter and step-grandchildren he loved as his own and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
