It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Lavern Schnake (Mount Vernon, Missouri), who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavern Schnake and Clara Schnake; his siblings, Ruth, Geneva, LeeRoy, Lois and David; and his granddaughter Whitney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey Estes (Shane) of Mt. Vernon and Lisa Helm (Sammy) of Pineville; his grandchild Nat Wachowski-Estes of Tulsa; his granddaughter-in-law Jennie; his daughter-in-law Megan Calvert (Dustin) of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Anderson, Silas, Joey, Asher, Israel and Samantha Haymaker (Doug) of Pineville; his great grandchild Karson; his daughter Charlotte; his child-in-law Taylor Helm (Jonathan) of Springdale; his grandchildren, Konner, Weston, Cloee Helm of Pineville, Marissa Estes (Gavin) of Fayetteville and Gracie Estes of Mt. Vernon; and his siblings, Leon (Renee) of Warrensburg, Allene Roach of Joplin and Peggy Short (Terry) of Mt. Vernon.
Memorial contributions can be made to Harlan's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
