He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Atkeson and Tina Atkeson (Talburt); his sisters, Arlene Milford (Paul), Willowene Kasten (Bill) and Delores Bayless (Wilson); his brother-in-law Albert Owens; his son Glenn Dale Atkeson, Jr.; his son-in-law Gary Emerson; and his grandsons, Ethan Emerson and Holt Atkeson.
He is survived by: his wife Kenna Lou; his siblings, John Burl Atkeson (Anita) of Aurora, Missouri and Yvonne Owens of Houston, Texas; his children, Tina Emerson, Scott Atkeson (Jeanne), Kenneth Atkeson (Colleen) and Wade Atkeson (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Lindy, Lexie, Kelley, Eli, Cooper, Caleb, April, Dylan, Andrey, Kennon, Ezra and Massey. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
