It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George David Stewart Jr. of Mount Vernon, Missouri, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George David and Mildred Ann Stewart, Sr. (Rooney); his daughter Darlena Jones; his son-in-law Larry Allen; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Danny and Bella Smythe; and his sisters, Davida and Meg.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gail Garner; his children, Sandra Robinson (Gary) of Springfield, Dawn Allen of Verona, Missouri and Roger Stewart (Trang) of Springfield, Missouri; and his brothers, Mark, Jimmy and John Stewart. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chesapeake Baptist Church (10860 Lawrence 1212, Mt Vernon, MO 65712).
