We bid farewell to Derf Fred Eukel of Mount Vernon, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 8, 2025 at the age of 75. Derf Fred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dean and Patricia Gloria Eukel (Pace); and his siblings, Dereesa Postlethawaite, David and Dwayne Eukel.
He is survived by: his wife Dee; his children, Benjamin, Eric of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheila Phelan (Chris) of Mt. Vernon, Michelle Gettler (Chris) of Wentworth and Melissa Doty of Flemington, Missouri; and his siblings, Beth Eukel-Nutter of Yakima, Washington and Donald Eukel, Jr. (Tonya) of Mandeville, Louisiana. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maple Park Cemetery (2 W Prospect St, Aurora, MO 65605).
