It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Lee Rodgers of Mount Vernon, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lee and Lavina Rodgers (Sifferman). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann Pierce; his children, Angie Rodgers of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Marty Rodgers (Tiffany) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Klista Davis of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Andrea Askren (Ralph) of Strafford, Shelly Gutierrez (Benny) of Salado, Hollie Gaddy (Grant) of Mt. Vernon, Benjamin Carr (Carrie) of Aurora and William Carr (Amber) of Carthage, Missouri; and his sister Genine Rodgers of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
