With solemn reverence, we commemorate Della Prewitt of Mount Vernon, Missouri, whose life came to an end on February 20, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fraley and Irene Florence Jenkins (Bryan); her stepfather Marvin Cockman; her son Roger Prewitt; and her siblings, Carol Ingle and Dow Jenkins (Marge).

She is survived by: her husband Richard Dean Prewitt; her children, Mona Ingle (Jim) of Monett, Rena Reckewey of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Patrick Prewitt (Jayne) of Mt. Vernon and Mark Prewitt (Brenda Woods) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; her brother Larry Cockman (Sue) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her brother-in-law Gene Ingle of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Sarah Johnson (Eric), Rebecca Schoen (Nathan), Bethany Patterson (Justin), Adam Ingle (Celia), Emma Wallace (Lucas), Julia Prewitt, Carrie Ingle, Leah Prewitt (Steven) of Mt. Vernon, Aaron Ingle (Ali) of Monett, Abbey Shaw (Alex) of Joplin, Sloane Reckewey of Denver, Marra Reckewey of Minneapolis and Jason Ingle (Amy) of Fort Myers, Florida. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home- Mt. Vernon (510 E Cherry St, Mt Vernon, MO 65712). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Ioof Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Happy Hollow Bible Camp, in care of the funeral home.
