He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Herod; his wife Ferol Mae Bumgarner; his mother Louise Herod (Logan); his stepmother Mary; and his sister Mary Gillespie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Danette Dallas (Willie) of Mangum and Denise White (Rodney) of Stotts City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Willie Dallas, Jr. of Moore, Ineke Dallas of Edmond and Anna Herod Terry (Jeff) of Warrensburg, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Jarrett Terry, Jaron Terry and Joie Terry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Mt. Vernon Eagles Lodge, in care of the funeral home.
