She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Liues Frongello; her stepfather Leo Herzing; her husband George "Pappy" Riffel; and her brother Gary Herzing. She is survived by: her mother Jean Ardelle Frongello (Shafer) of Coudersport, Pennsylvania; her sons, Joe Forsythe (Lisa Powel) of Riverview and Jake Forsythe (Bobbie Joe) of Penn Yan; and her siblings, Joellen Standard (Michael) of Woodstock, Julie Neffe (Jim) of Mt. Holly Springs, Pennsylvania and George Herzing of Austin. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
