He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Oscar and Della Ellen Evatt (Head); his grandson Kaleb Kingsley; and his siblings, Harold, Jimmy, Marvin, Bill, Lloyd, Paul Evatt, Wanda Wolf, Stella Snell, Oleta Morgan, Florence Payne and Helen Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Ada Washam; his daughter Cindy Evatt Kingsley of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jaron Lester (Michelle) of Republic, Brock Lester of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Alicyn Kingsley of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Tinsley and Elijah; and also Shirley Smith of Mt. Vernon, Missouri..
