It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allan James Moore Jr. of Mount Vernon, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Moore and Eugenia Moore (Masden); and his sisters, Sue Louise Moore and Mary Jean Riddle. He is survived by: his sons, Allan Moore (Kim) and Stephen Moore (Republic); and his grandchildren, Tyson (Nicole), Sarah Taub (Jason), Ashley Peterson (Eric) and Nathan Moore. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19, the family has requested for those attending the visitation and services to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
If desired memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, or Ozark Prairie Presbyterian Church, in care of the funeral home.
