With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William J. Means of Mount Moriah, Missouri, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William J. Means to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zach and Zetta Arnus Means; his wife Alice Sue Means; and his son Alan Ray Means. He is survived by: his son Eric Means; his daughter-in-law Jill Means (Alan); his grandchildren, Rachel Mincy (Braxton), Allison Johnston (Matthew), John Means (Caroline) and Jacob Means (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Emmett, William, Madison, Eliza, McCoy, Vivian and Baby M..
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (10100 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
