He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Caffey and Neoma Caffey; and his brothers, David and Ed Caffey. He is survived by: his sister Susan Caffey-Iwuji; his children, Steven Caffey Jr., Megan Caffey-Sassen and Logan Caffey; and his grandchildren, Layla Follett, Flynn Sasseen, Isabelle Caffey and Maylee Caffey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
