He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cooper and Myrtle Cooper; and his niece Christina Giatras. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his goddaughter Isabella Marx (Nicholas); his brother-in-law Dennis Giatras (Joyce); his nieces, Denise and Ashley Jenks; his nephew Mark Giatras; his sister Gloria Scholl (George); his parents-in-law, Spiro and Maria Giatras; his sister-in-law Bea Giatras; and his nephews, David Giatras and Tim Jenks. He is also survived by many extended family members and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at the St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church (8100 W 95th St, Overland Park, KS 66212).
