With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harriet Hazel Barrish of Mount Moriah, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. I. Jay Barrish; her parents, Ruth Shultz and Leo Shultz of Overland Park, KS; and her brother Myron B. Shultz of California. She is survived by: her son Brad Barrish (Laura Hess); her grandchildren, Cassidy and Ozzie of Los Angeles, CA; her son Jonas Barrish (Meghann); her grandchildren, Dov and Leora of Overland Park, KS; her daughter Brandy Barrish (Matt Solomon); her grandsons, Julian Jay Magness, Jonah Solomon and Eli Solomon of Overland Park, KS.; and her close friend Jeanne Harmon.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Operation Wild Life, the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City - Gabriel's Fund, Harvesters, Children's Mercy, Defenders of Wildlife or an organization or charity of your choice.
