He was predeceased by: his grandfather Don; his parents, Leora Tunks and Burke Tunks; his stepfather Marvin Blair; and his brothers, Phil Tunks and Marion Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Lily Tunks; his daughter Marina Ganter (Tunks); his son-in-law Alexis Ganter; his son John Tunks; his daughter-in-law Susie Tunks; his granddaughters, Emma Tunks, Zoë Ganter, Naia Tunks and Charlotte Ganter; and his stepbrother Frank Blair. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Kansas City.
