It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley E. Jackson (Mound City, Missouri), who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband LeRoy Freed; her parents, Mace Nauman and Mary Nauman (Scott); her siblings, Eugene Nauman and Loralue Ingles; her son-in-law Kenneth Scarbrough; and her niece Luanna Shields.

She is survived by: her husband David Jackson; her daughters, Mary Cox (Larry) and Virginia Scarbrough; her grandchildren, Leha Lenhoff (Chris), Tracy Cavanzon, Sean Scarbrough (Liz), Dawn Thomas (Harlan) and Jeremy Scarbrough (Kara); and her brother Donald Nauman. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Tiffany Heights or Mound City Public Library.
