He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip C. and Dorothy A. Haines, Sr. (Wyatt). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Cole; his son Brian Allen Haines of Hanford, California; his brothers, Norman Haines (Doris) of Redondo Beach and Donald Haines of Lakewood, California; his siblings-in-law, Gail Olson, Carol Sommerville of Victorville, California, Barry Cole (Barbara) of Ridgecrest and Rod Cole (Rashelle) of Dewey, Arizona; his grandchildren, Samantha Medley (Christian Uribe) and Austin Page (Cynthia); and his great grandchildren, Scarlet Medley, Mila Uribe and Cassidy Page. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
