He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wheeler and Gladys Wheeler (Campbell); his brother Ronald; and his wife Marie Morris. He is survived by: his children, Linda Landzettel (Bob) of Leavenworth, KS, Glenn Wheeler (Karol), Greg Wheeler of Mound City, MO and Gary Wheeler (Joy); his brother-in-law Forrest Morris (Jeanna) of Stanberry, MO; his grandchildren, Wolfgang, Dietrich, Sturm Landzettel, Rebecca, James and Joseph Wheeler; and his great grandchildren, Liberty Hart, Vivian, Amelia Landzettel, Lorelei, Lucian Landzettel, Jacob, Christian and Savannah Landzettel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Mound City United Methodist Church (312 E 7th St, Mound City, MO 64470).
