He is survived by: his children, Brenda Graves of Mound City, Chris Staples (Janet) of Mound City, Dan Staples (Gretchen) of Mound City, Kevin Staples (Heather) of Mound City, Sheila Strong (Lance) of Maysville and Devin Staples (Jen) of Maryville; his brother Gary Staples (Linda) of Omaha; his sisters-in-law, Rita Staples of Maryville, Nellie Christensen (Joe) of Maryville and Ardith Zion of Maryville; his aunt Donna Jean Sallee of Chariton, Iowa; his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Hurst of Oregon and Maurice Zion (Janet) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Eddie Graves (Christa), Jennifer Graves, Jeremy Staples (McKenna), Kylie Miller (Isaiah), Kyle, Levi Staples, Spencer Staples (Allyson), Colin Staples, Parker Staples (Kallista), Michael Strong (Lisa), Mark, Kristin, Trent Strong, Zach, Justin and Jaxson Staples; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Caden, Carter Graves, Cormac, Olivia, William, Mabel Mae Miller, Dellah Strong and Colson Staples. He is also survived by other great grandchild due in June 2022, and nieces and nephews.
