The passing of Dorothy W. Kurtz of Mound City, Missouri, born in Xenia, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Eva Lynn Kurtz and Lyle Thomas "Tom" Kurtz; and her siblings-in-law, Willard Delaney, Bill Duncan, Emmett, Ivan Kurtz, George Mohler, Maxine Kurtz, Emma Lou Kurtz and Verlene Mohler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Riggsby (Ron) and Suzanne Catterson (Mike Hoeper); her siblings, Evelyn Delaney, Rita Duncan and Ernie; her sister-in-law Omalee Agnor; her grandchildren, Andrea LeBakken, Preston Catterson, Kaitlin Bradley, Jennifer Riggsby, Stephanie Riggsby and Trevor Riggsby; and her great grandchildren, Laini Sisk, Lukas Lebakken, Jaidan, Kennedy, Beau Catterson, Jayden, Tristan Riggsby and Bristol Bradley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chamberlain Funeral Home (100 W George St, Oregon, MO 64473). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the New Point Christian Church (24135 Stonehill Rd, Oregon, MO 64473).
