She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Kappelmann and Adolphine Kappelmann; her husband Lester Schaper; her sons, Jerry and Jeffrey Schaper; her brothers, Alfred Kappelmann and Victor Kappelmann (Betty); and her brothers-in-law, Harold and Delmer Schaper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Broyles (John) of Hawk Point, MO and Carol Foley (Shawn) of Champaign, IL; her granddaughters, Jessica Boedeker (Jason), Megan Lavy (Steven), Jenna Cech (Neil) and Katie Carriere (Chris); her sister Ruth Ann Thater; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Kappelmann and Dorothy Schaper; and her close friends, Barb and Gene Kautz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
