He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Briggs and Iva Briggs; and his siblings, Wilbur Briggs, Leonard Briggs, Raymond Briggs, Wanda Adams, Mary Rebstock, Nancy Pauck, Robert DeClue, Bill and Shirly Ann Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Briggs; his sons, Chuck Briggs and Matt Briggs (April); his stepson Robert Burgett (Christy); his grandchildren, Christian, Josselyn, Andrea, Brittany, Jessica, Kyle and Cameron; and his siblings, Caroline Whittington and Dan Briggs (Elaine).
