Brian Leroy Fredde Obituary
Brian Leroy Fredde, 43, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2019 near his home with loved ones by his side. Born on June 3, 1976, in Troy, Brian was the beloved son of Leroy Fredde and Cheryl (Bergfeld) Bertels. He grew up playing with tractors and trucks, causing trouble with his neighborhood buddies and having fun at Papa Fredde's farm.
With his sisters, he attended Troy R-III Schools where he made some life-long friends. They gave him the nickname of "Fred Bird" and his friends he always held close to his heart. He grew up and worked various jobs as a mechanic, a welder and even worked in construction. Brian was a jack-of-all-trades, but his passion was truck driving.
He was a Peterbuilt guy to the core, and those who knew him best will remember him as the one and only, "Renegade Trucker". When he wasn't working, Brian enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to camp and float, get his Toyota stuck in a mudhole or just tell stories around a bonfire with a cold one in his hand.
Brian was always the life of the party, joking and laughing. His perfect smile will never be forgotten. Brian will be remembered as a loving son, a protective big brother and a loyal friend. He was a generous, hardworking man who would give you the shirt off his back and drop everything to help those he loved the most. He leaves a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, but the memories and stories and laughs, will keep his spirit alive forever.
Brian is survived by his parents: Jeff and Cheryl Bertels of Moscow Mills, Leroy Fredde; his siblings: Tricia and Shawn Moore, Courtney Thornburgh, Krystal Fredde, Jessica Woods, Danielle Bertels, Robert Bertels, Sheena Bertels and Shane (Cindy) Bertels.
