He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Crain and Sylvia Crain (Johnson); his wife Vera Crain; his son Danny Crain; and his siblings, Marvin Crain and Genevieve Guinn.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Aline Christian; his children, Joyce Soldi, Connie Thompson (Wally), Kelly Crain (Lois) and Jamie Crain-Tice; his close friend Judith Garson; and his caregiver Beverly Gilkey. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
