Vails, Jr., Peggy Rehkop (Vails), Shirley Clarke (Vails), B. J. Vails, Kimberly Neppl (Vails) and Sheila Vails; and his grandchildren, Paityn and Chloe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
