He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dawkins and Jessie Dawkins (Bench); his wife Betty Ann Eller; his daughter Carol Loraine; and his sisters, Iris Batson, Carmen Burgett and Gayle Loraine Dawkins.
He is survived by: his children, Damon "Randy" Dawkins (Sheri) of Ludlow, Missouri, Gayle Lynn Dawkins of Mooresville and Connie Coots (Robert) of Mooresville, Missouri; his grandchildren, David Harp (Marilyn), Brooke Harp (Amanda), Brett Dawkins (Becky) and Drew Dawkins (Paige); his great grandchildren, Kendall, Rayna, Scarlett, Baylee, Ashton, Brentlee, Kooper, Caroline and Lylith; and his siblings, Ramona Dawkins Pollard, Bonnie Dawkins Walker, Melvin Dawkins (Peggy), Gerald Dawkins (Wanda), Mercedes Dawkins Hopper (Jack), Ray Leslie Dawkins (Judy) and Evelyn Dawkins Burkhart (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
