She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Clement Schallert and Betty Lucille Schallert; and her brother Edward "Eddie" M. Schallert. She is survived by: her children, Sterling Brown Jr. (Tina) of Joplin, MO., Nicole Brown of Clinton, MO., Aaron Brown (Kennedy Anderson) of Clinton, MO., Samantha Foster of Clinton, MO., Travis Foster of Clinton, MO. and Jessica Foster of Montrose, MO.; her sisters, Barbara "Barb" Cook, Susan Rohaus and Rebecca "Becky" Dudley; and her grandchildren, Rye and Lee Brown Good.

Family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association and can be left in care of the funeral home.
