As Bernia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernia. Though Bernia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Brumley and Bessie Brumley; and her spouse Gail Witt. She is survived by: her children, Lanny Witt (Betty) of Lebanon, Becky Russell (Bob) of Rolla and Randy Witt (Beth) of Montreal, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Russ Witt (Sarah), Kiel Witt (Heather), Jordan Witt (Whitney), Byron Russell, Shantelle Russell, Brandon Witt (Becca) and Jake Witt. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Union Cemetery (14 Mt Union Church Rd #306, Brumley, MO 65017).
