He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hays and Elsie Lucille Windsor Hays; his daughter Mona; and his siblings, Bobby, Jim, Charles, Morris, Alma Lou, Mary, Helen, Violet and Martha.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Heaston Hays of Montgomery City, MO; his children, Gail Davis (Corey) of Mexico, MO, DeLisa Totton (Tom) of Wellsville, MO and Thomas Kemp (Lindsay) of Montgomery City, MO; his grandchildren, Corey Andrew Davis of Mexico, MO, Ruby Totton of Wellsville, MO, Caitlin Kemp of Montgomery City, MO, Hannah Kemp of Montgomery City, MO and Justin Kemp of Montgomery City, MO.; and his siblings, David Hays of Fulton, MO, Gracie Dingledine of Jefferson City, MO, Ruth Andersen of Montgomery City, MO, Jo Ann Maddux of Mexico, MO and Darlene Cowles of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
