It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter D. McQuie of Montgomery City, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McQuie Sr. and Marguerite McQuie (Kirn); his son Charles Kirn McQuie; and his brothers, Robert and George.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Elizabeth Scharnhorst; his children, Walt McQuie of Jemez Springs, Ellen McQuie of Columbia and Andrew McQuie (Chris Kaiser) of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Drew Bruno (Jolene Gilbert-Bruno) of Chicago and Ann Bruno (Phil Denight).
