He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Lee Castle and Vesta Mae Ross Castle; his children, Ronald Ross Castle and Mary "Terry" Mills; and his sister-in-law Margaret Castle.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Mae Dahlem Castle of Montgomery City, MO; his daughter Carol Richter (DeWayne) of Sullivan, IL; his children-in-law, Karen Castle Grezeszak (Tom) of Kansas and Bill Mills of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, William R. Mills, Robert Lee Mills, Rachael Alsheri, Kevin Mills, Mirah Mills, Ross Castle II, Jennifer Miller, Ben Richter and Amanda Wilson; his great grandchildren, Eli, Sam, Silas, Wade, Lillian, Aunika, Damien, Maverick and Oliver; and his brother Loyde Castle of Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
