He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leroy and Laura Edna Bell Hardin; his significant other Grace Eisenhauer; his stepson Jeffrey Dodd; and his siblings, Donald Irvin, Samuel Irvin, Delmer Irvin and Edna Harvey.
He is survived by: his children, Rilla May Harlan (John) of Warrenton, MO, Norman Dale Irvin, Jr. (Billie Jo) of Bellflower, MO, Robert Wade Irvin (Mamie) of Montgomery City, MO, Roberta Charlene Irvin of Warrenton, MO and Billy Sanford Irvin (Vilma) of Bellflower, MO; his stepdaughter Tina Dodd of Florida; and his siblings, Albert Irvin of Barry, IL, Bob Irvin of Louisiana, MO, Alice Dawson of Louisiana, MO, Velma McCormack of Wyoming and Doris Silvey of Santa Fe, MO. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
