He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Alice Katherine Starner (Windsor); and his son Louis Allen Starner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Lee Atterberry; his children, David Starner (Kim) of Pittsfield, Robert Eugene Starner (Alicia) of Warrensburg, James William Starner of Granite City, Tammy Rene Warnick (Gaylan) of Allerton, Dawn Charlene Moss of Centerville, Cody Michael Starner of Montgomery City and Loren Thomas of LaPlata; and his close friend Linda Blake of Centerville, Iowa.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
