We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2019 we had to say goodbye to James William Bethel (Montgomery City, Missouri), born in New Florence, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth George Bethel and Martha Rose Prior Bethel; his son Tracy Wayne Bethel; and his parents-in-law, Ira Glen Mather and Mildred Mather.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mather Bethel of Danville, MO; his child Kelly Bethel of Thailand; his adoptive son Paul West (Maggie) of Middletown, MO; his great grandchildren, Dever Cope, Dallas Cope, Cooper Gardner and Penny Gardner; his siblings, Kenneth George Bethel, Jr., Carolyn See (Larry), Monte Bethel (Judy), Ronnie Bethel (Judy) and Ruthie Schaeffer (Jerry); his sister-in-law Glenda Keibler; and also Josh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
