He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Burch and Lizzy Burch (Preston); his son John Burch; his stepsons, Joe and Chuck Stotler; and his siblings, Pearl Burch, Porter Burch, Louis Burch, Robert Burch, Jim Burch, Claude Burts, Grover Burts, Elizabeth Christian and Benny Burch.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Mae Higgenbotham; his sons, Carl "Gene" (Dottie) and David Burch (Jill) of Montgomery City; his stepchildren, Dorsey Stotler (Susan) of Montgomery City and Kate Burger (Keith) of Warrenton, MO.; and his grandchildren, Stacy Hadden, Cory Burch, Teresa Burch, Scott Burch, Chris Burch, James Burch, Adam Burch, Tauna Spencer, Jessie Spencer, Amanda Nickerson, Kimberly Melo, Marsha Layton, Nicholas Stotler, Brandi Eastman, JJ Stotler, Emily Cheney, Jessica Bryson, Jennifer List and Holly Stotler.
