He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Wright and Marie Precht Wright; his former wife Barbara Jean Shoemate; his wife Ruth Forbis; his son Daniel Wright; his siblings, Lake Wright, Aubrey Wright, Judy Freeman and Alva Easley-Bruce; his granddaughters, Tabitha Wright and Nicole Wright; and his stepchildren, Connie Yost and Carl Forbis.
He is survived by: his son Tom Wright; his daughter-in-law Lynn Wright; his stepchildren, Larry Forbis (Dawn), Ronald Forbis (Jean) and Mary Winn; his brother Jerry Wright (Violet); and his grandchildren, Jon Wright, Katherine Wright and Cody Wright. He is also survived by sixteen step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bienhoff Funeral Homes (401 Salling St, Perry, MO 63462). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
