With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velda E. Clark of Monroe City, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Velda left this world on December 3, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olyce Clyde and Lelah Opal Dimmitt Ogle; her siblings, Ronnie Olyce Ogle, Derald Ogle (Paulette), Donald Ogle (Ona) and Janice Thompson (Louis); her siblings-in-law, Reva Ogle and Dave Williams; her great grandchild Bailey Clark; and her close friend Sandy Schweiter.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Clark (Nancy) of La Vista, NE, Jimmy Clark (Janet) of La Vista, NE and Paula Clark of Macon, MO; her brother Bernard Ogle of Monroe City, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Ogle of Monroe City, MO and Doris Williams of Phoenix. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James O'Donnell Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456).
