It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Eugene Smith of Monroe City, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ashley and Francis Eppley Smith; and his sister Linda Cupp. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Heskett; his children, Troy Smith (Stacy Walker) of Monroe City, Tina Saxbury (Matt) of Monroe City and Stacy Lucas (John) of Monroe City; and his grandchildren, Jay Hufford, Victoria Benjamin, Zach Smith, Jonathon Saxbury, Aliceann Walker, Izeah Williams, John Shrum, Wayne Carson, Matt Saxbury, Robbie Coffey and Buckey Shrum. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Memorials have been suggested to the American Heart Association.
