He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Martin Mudd and Mary Ellen Littleton; his siblings, Donald, Bob Mudd, Lucille Massey and Ruth Ann Brown; his siblings-in-law, Penny Mudd (Gerry Mudd) and Michael Utter; his niece Cheryl Massey; and his nephew Michael Mudd.
He is survived by: his son Richard Mudd; his siblings, Hugh Mudd of California, Fred Mudd of California, James Mudd (Dorothy) of Monroe City, Nicholas Mudd of Monroe City, Charles Mudd (Judy) of Moberly, Howard Mudd of Hunnewell, Patricia Wooten (Ernie) of New London, Carolyn Mills-Utter of Moberly and Joyce Cochran (Ed) of Cairo; his grandson Zachary Mudd of Cordova; and his great grandchildren, Kinzlee and Braxton Mudd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garner Funeral Chapel (315 N Vine St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Salt River Nursing Home.
