With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann McMurdo of Monroe City, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann McMurdo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Louis Fick and Iola Mildred Prescott Fick; her husband Jim; her brothers, Jim Fick and David Fick; and her daughter Susan Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Hays (Gary) of Monroe City, MO, Teresa Provost (Jeff) of Olathe, KS and Wes McMurdo (Tanya) of Monroe City, MO; her grandchildren, Tyler Hays (Emily), Adam Hays (Alisa), Olivia Beckett (Dakota), Emily Sellers (Arthur), Nathan Provost (Marissa), Keegan McMurdo (Danielle) and Makenzie Chapman (Casen); her great grandchildren, Kayly Rash and Layton; her grandchildren, Mia, Maisy Hays, Everly Beckett, Marel Sellers and Parker Raine McMurdo; and her brother Kenneth Fick (Carol) of Hilton Head, SC. She is also survived by extended family, spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Florida Presbyterian Church or Monroe City Kids Summer Lunch Program.
