She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen D. DeOrnellas and Lydia Ellen DeOrnellas (Kidd); her husband Robert E. Hughes (Gene); and her siblings, Stephen William DeOrnellas, Floyd DeOrnellas, Homer Lee DeOrnellas, Minnie Mary Elizabeth Norman and Laura Mae Miller George.
She is survived by: her son Stephen E. Hughes (Henrietta); her sister Lydia Grace Hillebrand of Hallsville, MO.; and also, Jason Hughes (Melody) of Wentzville, MO, Angie Carey (Mark), O'Fallon, Shelly Simms (Chris), Jasmine, Austin Hughes, Logan Carey, Katie, Allie and Riley Simms.
