With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leta Fay Gosney Schenck of Monroe City, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Clayton Gosney and Phyllis June SeCoy Gosney; her husband George W. Schenck; and her daughter Zelda Schenck. She is survived by: her children, Tessy Buckman (Michael) of Monroe City, MO and Howard Schenck (Sarah) of Mentone, IN; her sisters, Naomi Elliott (George) of Palmyra, MO and Bonnie Miles (Kip) of Monroe City, MO; her grandchildren, Ryan Maddox (Morgan), Ty Watson (Shaina), Carly Buckman (Elliot), Ryder Schenck, Reece Schenck, Krayton Schenck and Greyson Schenck; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Aivyn, Kezli, Dean, Case, Jackson and Nolan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456).
