He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice McElroy and Suellen Gallagher McElroy; and his siblings, Donald McElroy and Lois Phornborn. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; and his children, David Benjamin McElroy (Vanessa), Lila Kathleen Aud (Joel) and Sarah Elizabeth Crumley (James).
