He was predeceased by: his mother Cheryl K. Dowell, Sr. (Tyree). He is survived by: his wife LeAnn Nicole Gilmore (Nicki); his father James L. Dowell, Sr.; his sister Jamie Fierge; his niece Jaylee; his nephew Wyatt of Colorado; and his stepchildren, Kenneth Charles Stoddard (KC) of Columbia and Kayla Herman (Derek) of St. Petersburg, Florida.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been suggested to the Jimmy Dowell Memorial Fund in care of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri.
