He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Blair Sr. and Ruth Murphy Blair (Jenny); his niece Lisa Parshall; his nephew Ben Hirner; and his uncle Kenny Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Christina Blair of Monroe City, MO; his children, James E. Blair III and Tina Powers (Tim); and his grandchildren, Sergeant Sawyer J. Powers and Hannah Powers (Thad Ferguson). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
