With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Eugene Dexter (Monroe City, Missouri), born in Clinton, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Miles (Pete) and Helen Margaret Spencer Dexter; and his daughter-in-law Judith Dexter. He is survived by: his children, Larry Dexter of Warsaw, Missouri, Dennis Dexter of Hunnewell, Richard Dexter (Melinda) of Monroe City, Margaret Crain (Michael) of Cincinnati and Genea Hays (Patrick) of St. Claire; his siblings, Frank Dexter of Hannibal and Josephine Carr (Dick) of Hunnewell; and his grandchildren, Pamela Alsup, Doug Dexter, Mark Crain, Jason Dexter, Brandon Crain and Christopher Dexter. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
